Lately.... The Dream

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about my friend Karen and how amazing she is. She truly is one of my best friends and I wouldn't be this far without her. During the fall 2012 semester at BYU-I Karen and I thought about missions and then we helped each other get there. Honestly, with out Karen's example, determination and her constant encouragement, I don't think I would be going on my mission right now. I am so grateful to her and her love for me and most importantly her testimony and love for our Heavenly Father.
I had an interesting dream last night that I thought I should probably record since I remembered it and I never remember my dreams. Keep in mind that it IS a dream, so obviously some things are not gonna be reasonable or make a lot of sense.
The Dream: All I can really remember is that there was this boy and his family. I'm not sure if the rest of the family was boys or girls and how many there were but I know there was more, and they were a white family(I'm not sure why I remembered this but I thought I might as well write it down). I heard them talking about helping the boy buy a bike. They were all gonna put money into it to help him out but he would pay the greatest amount. It appeared that this family was in a tight spot financially, and the odd and unreasonable part is that they were going to pay $1400 for this bike. The next thing I remember is that I was bringing a bike over to this boys house. I put it in the yard and left, but I feel like I was there because I witnessed everything that went on in the house after that. The family found the bike and they were so astonished and grateful to have received this bike as a gift. They expressed great joy and gratitude. They then began gathering all of their children into the house to pray(at this point I was back in the picture and on their front door). Although they didn't know it was me they invited me in to join them for prayer to thank their Heavenly Father for blessing them with this bike. As we gathered around I woke up and didn't end up praying with them. As I laid in bed I felt great joy. I was so happy that I had done such a nice thing to make a family so happy, and it was neat to see them express their gratitude to the Lord for blessing them with the bike.
As i wrote this dream in my journal I got an impression of the joy I will feel with sharing the gospel with those in New Zealand. It's exciting to think that on the mission I can help impact and influence the lives of others with sharing the gospel with them. I know that it will make them happy, because if a bike can bring so great of happiness how much more happiness will the gospel bring them, for the gospel is far better than a bike. And that is because the gospel is Eternal Happiness and Salvation.
